Results of 2009 Undie Sunday Undie Monday Campaign
Dignity U Wear mobilized the North Florida community to collect brand new underwear for children and families in need during the fourth annual Undie Sunday & Undie Monday Campaign.
Participating faith groups, businesses, nonprofits, civic groups, school groups, other groups and individuals all collected children’s underwear during the drive.
TOTAL NUMBER OF PIECES COLLECTED: 56,636 valued at more than $230,000, of (mainly) children's underwear were collected during the six-week campaign.
TOTAL CASH DONATIONS RAISED: More than $15,000 was collected as a result of the first fundraising effort ever incorporated into the Undie Sunday Undie Monday event.
