Mission Statement The mission of Dignity U Wear Foundation, Inc. is to positively impact the lives of children and their families in need by providing brand new clothing. THE SOCK PROJECT
Q: What can $1 do? A: Something wonderful.
For each dollar you donate to Dignity U Wear’s Sock Project, you will put a brand new pair of socks on a person who desperately needs them. For the homeless, a new pair of socks can mean clean, dry and healthy feet. And that means they have a better chance to get to a job or to school. And that can lead to getting into a place to live. Just think—one dollar can do that.
News About Our Partners Dignity U Wear & Haven Hospice Partner with Men's Wearhouse to Help Wounded Warriors With the help of Men’s Wearhouse, Dignity U Wear and Haven Hospice have partnered together to provide local veterans participating in the Jacksonville-based Wounded Warrior Project with clothing that will enable them to successfully enter the civilian workforce. Most recently, 11 wounded soldiers who served our country were honored with new business suits and accessories. And we get a lot of satisfaction from bringing all the pieces together. But nothing compares to the delight and relief we witness on the faces of the people who benefit from the effort and actually receive the clothes. We were reminded of this at Windy Hill Elementary School in Jacksonville on August 21st.
